Belt Oil Skimmer

As the name of this device suggests, it uses a metal strip in the form of a belt to clean water. The surface of this belt is capable of absorbing oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, grease and hydrocarbons. The method of operation of the oil skimmer belt is that after throwing it into the water, the belt starts working and gradually absorbs oil and petroleum products. The belt oil scraper mechanism extracts    hydrocarbons    .

After the entire surface of the belt is covered with oil and dirt, the belt is fed into the machine and through the cleaning blades inside it, all dirt and oily materials are removed from its surface and, if necessary, the belt starts working again. The name of the oil-absorbing substance on this belt is elofil.

It can only be transported to approved hazardous material disposal sites to protect the environment and worker safety. Landfill workers are not trained to handle hazardous chemicals.

2. Report oil spills

Depending on the size of  the chemical spill  and its impact on the environment, it may be reported to authorities. Check your industry requirements and the chemicals on site to ensure compliance.

3. Find the cause of the leak

Conducting an investigation after a leak is an important step to prevent it from happening again. If it is a pipeline fault, the results of the investigation can lead to an improvement in the pipeline inspection program. If human error is the source, the audit results can lead to improved procedures and employee training. If equipment is damaged, it may indicate that it is not designed for the service. Replacing the equipment prevents the same failure from happening again.

4. Spill response assessment
